Telemetry Nurse

Contract

• Travel/contract role
• 13 weeks
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
• 36 hours per week
• 36-hour or 48-hour scheduling option available
• 13-week or 26-week contract option available

Unit Overview

• Specialty medical/surgical heart and vascular unit
• 49-bed unit
• Cares for stable heart and lung transplant patients and patients with ventricular assist devices
• Travelers are expected to float frequently and within scope to meet staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Nebraska
• Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• NIH Stroke Certification
• CPI

Schedule Expectations

• Weekend coverage required: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are not accepted, unless the traveler has 2 years of experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center
• Pending license is accepted; if not in hand at submission, start will be booked 6 weeks out
• Scrubs are required and must be Steele gray with the facility logo
• Nicotine-free facility
• Parking is available at an additional cost
