Registered Nurse - PCU (Night Shift)
Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Nights (3 shifts of 12 hours, 7 PM to 7 AM)
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week (option to request 48 hours)
- Patient Ratios: 1:4-5
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- No travel pairs accepted
- Floating required within scope to meet facility needs (may float between like units)
- Local candidates not accepted (50-mile radius restriction)
- Return staff policy: Must be off assignment for 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Maximum of 2 contracts allowed (can extend once), then must be off for 6 months before returning
- Call-off policy: Up to 2 shifts off per 13-week assignment; after that, contracted hours are guaranteed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), with PCU experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
