Job Opportunity: Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Start Date: Approximately 2-3 weeks from offer
• Shift: Varying 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM
• Weekend Requirement: 1-2 weekends per month (Saturday-Sunday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
• On-Call: Required on weekdays (2-3 times per month) and weekends (2 times every other month)
• Block Schedule: Not accommodated
• Daily Caseload: 7-8 patients for 8-hour shifts; 8-10 patients for 10-hour shifts
• Floating: May be required to float to sister facilities within a 60-mile radius
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer, with experience within the last year
• Certification from ARDMS or CCI
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Requirements

• Photo for Badge: Clear, passport-style photo with solid light background, frontal view, business casual attire; must be submitted by Wednesday prior to start
• Orientation: Completion of required HR and facility-specific modules prior to orientation (approx. 2 hours)
• Radiation Exposure Attestation: Must be completed prior to start if radiation badge required
• Work History Verification: Last 3 clinical employers verified; attestation letters accepted only if other verification methods exhausted

This position is ideal for a qualified Echo Tech or Cardiac Sonographer with at least one year of experience, current certifications, and the ability to work varied day shifts including weekends and on-call duties in a high-acuity teaching hospital environment.
