Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Nights)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
May float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Work primarily in Med Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings.
Use EPIC electronic medical records system.
Orientation sessions available on multiple upcoming dates.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of step-down nursing experience.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
Valid Driver’s License.
Work history/resume.
Skills checklist completed within 1 year.
License verification.
Copies of required certifications.
One supervisory reference required at time of submission.
Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome.
Ability to float to Emergency Department (ED).
Willingness to work up to 48 hours per week.
Night shift with 12-hour shifts.
Overtime billable after 40 hours per week.
Holiday and call-back pay multipliers apply.
Charge and precepting pay available.
On-call pay provided.
