Cath Lab Technologist - Contract Position

Location: Fargo, North Dakota

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Scrub tech for cardiac angiograms/interventions, neuro angiograms/interventions, vascular/peripheral vascular angiograms/interventions, pacemaker implants/device cases
• Potential for EP (Electrophysiology) and structural heart cases based on experience
• Use of equipment/systems: EPIC, CUPID, GE MAC Lab/Cardio Lab reporting system

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficient in CVT role with scrubbing the above procedures
• Strong sterile technique skills
• RCIS or RCES certification strongly preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in CVT role

Certifications & Licensure

• BLS (AHA) required
• RCIS or RCES preferred

Schedule & Shift Details

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (Monday through Friday)
• Call rotation every 3rd to 4th weekend plus 1 night of call per week
• Call team consists of 4 people; candidate will not be on call alone

Unit Information

• 8 cath lab rooms with 1 procedure room
• No floating to other units/departments
• Hospital scrubs provided

Orientation & Training

• Orientation tailored to candidate’s experience level
• 1-2 days with assigned mentor

Additional Notes

• EP experience is a plus but not required
• Proficient with coronary stent interventions
• Must have recent 2 years of experience in relevant role
