Special Procedures Tech (Interventional Radiology Tech) - Travel Position

Location: Aurora, Colorado

Department: Interventional Radiology
Hospital Beds: 272
IR Suites: 2
Staffing:
- IR Techs: 4 (Day Shift)
- RNs: 6 total (4-5 on Day Shift)
- Night Shift: On-call
Patient Ratios: Estimated 1:1 to 3:1 (not guaranteed)
Equipment: GE imaging systems
EMR System: Meditech

Schedule

Shift: Day Shift, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Required Skills and Certifications

Must Have:
- VI certification or CVIR
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification
Preferred:
- Neuro experience
- Experience in a Thrombectomy center

Typical Procedures

Basic IR procedures such as lines and drains
Complex cases including:
- Sirspheres
- Tumor ablation
- Spine jack procedures
