Overview

  • Travel RN position in Kansas City, Missouri
  • 13-week contract
  • 48 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Missouri
  • ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS issued by American Heart Association
  • TNCC
  • CPI
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Unit Details

  • Emergency department with 38 beds
  • Uses Meditech
  • Common equipment includes ventilators, BiPAP, EKG, arterial lines, Belmont, and chest tubes

Typical Responsibilities

  • Prioritizing and time management
  • De-escalation
  • Port placement
  • Chest tube care

Schedule

  • 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays minimum per 4-week schedule
