Job Overview

Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Hours per week: 48
Shift: Mid-shift schedule; as early as 10:00 AM and as late as 1:30 AM
Weekend requirement: Every third weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
TNCC
NIHSS
Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
Knowledge of trauma care
Knowledge of STEMI care
Knowledge of stroke care
Knowledge of sepsis care
Knowledge of triage

Preferred Qualifications

CPI
CEN or TCRN certification

24-bed Emergency Department
Patient ratio: 1:4
Rare floating
Unit secretary coverage 21 hours/day
5 RN core staff
Level 1 fluid warmer, GE monitor system, Artic Sun, Lifepak, and Alaris pumps
Meditech documentation system
