Staffing (Night Shift): Charge nurse, 4-5 RNs, 2 PCTs
Patient Ratio: 5:1
Equipment: Telemetry monitoring, post-op monitoring
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech / CPN

Care for post-operative patients including surgical, orthopedic (spine, joint), and cardiac cath lab patients
Patient population includes elective ortho, spine, gynecological surgeries, post PCI, pacemaker, ablation, cardioversion, re-vascularization, stroke, CIWA, chest pain, renal failure, respiratory failure
Manage cardiac drips with set rates (non-titrating except heparin)
Work in a brand new, state-of-the-art unit with ADA/Bari rooms and Hoyer lifts (x2)
Unit culture emphasizes excellent teamwork, collaboration, and a friendly, outgoing personality fit
Modified self-scheduling process with schedules posted 3 weeks in advance

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Current certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
HHCCA - De-escalation Skills in Healthcare Setting
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
