Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Travel)

Location: Johnstown, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

  • High-risk Obstetrical Care
• Wide range of specialties such as Bariatrics, Cancer Care, Cardiology, Critical Care, Maternity Care, Orthopedics, Stroke Care, Trauma Services, Women's Health, and more.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Compliance and Screening Requirements

• Complete and clear background screenings required prior to start.
• Pennsylvania-specific clearances required before employment:

  • Child Abuse History Clearance
  • Department of Human Services Fingerprinting
  • FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting (must be within last two years or newly completed)
  • PA State Police Clearance (PATCH)
• All fingerprints must be submitted/uploaded before candidate can be cleared.

Additional Information

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff.
