Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care/Stepdown Transitional Unit position in Johnstown, PA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a PA or compact RN license.

Details

• Progressive Care Stepdown Transitional Unit within a tertiary care regional referral hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active PA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• AHA certifications required (e.g., BLS)
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate

Additional Information

• The hospital is a Duke LifePoint facility offering a Level 1 Trauma Center, Level 3 Regional Intensive Care Nursery, and a broad range of specialty services
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Pennsylvania-specific background clearances are required prior to start, including PA Child Abuse History Clearance, DHS Fingerprinting, FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting (accepted within last 2 years), and PA State Police (PATCH) clearance
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
