Echo Tech Travel Position - Indiana

Job Details

• Location: Michigan City, Indiana
• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Five 8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Weekend Schedule: Rotating weekends on a 6-week cycle; includes two weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and one night shift each week
• Call Requirements: 7-8 shifts per month, rotating every 6 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36 hours

Unit Information

• Department: Cardiac Services (Echo)
• Number of Beds: 150
• Patient Types: Inpatient, Outpatient, and Intra Procedural
• Patient Volume: 7+ cases per day
• Equipment Used: Phillips EpiQ
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Echo Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Echo Technologist experience within the last year
• CCI or ARDMS certification required
• Experience working with pediatric patients

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Watchman procedures
• Experience with 3D echocardiography

Additional Information

• Candidate will need to complete EPIC training and routine corporate orientation prior to the first day
