Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Weatherford, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

  • Provide respiratory therapy services primarily for adult patients.
  • Pediatric patients are treated only if they arrive through the Emergency Department; pediatric admissions are not maintained.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Respiratory Therapist (RT) License or Certification.
  • Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

Pros

The staff is excellent and very good patient advocates. The teamwork is amazing.

Cons

The charting system used throughout HCA facilities is archaic. Meditech needs to be replaced but HCA owned it and will never switch.
