Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Ventilator competency
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience

Preferred Qualifications

ICU or PACU
Drip titration
Neurosurgery

Typical Procedures

Set up PCA pump
Drip titration
Arterial line blood draw

Schedule

Day shift waterfall schedule with 9, 10, and 12 hour shifts
On call after 9:30p on nights
Weekday call from 9:30p to 8:00am
Weekend call from 7a to 7a
36 hours per week

2:1 patient ratio
1:1 unstable ICU
1:1 peds
Ventilators, Phillips and GE monitors, Sigma spectrum pumps
