Overview

Travel RN role in a Float Pool (Surge) unit
Specialty areas listed: Cardiac, Float Pool, Med Surg, and Tele
3 openings
36 guaranteed hours per week
Night shift: 6:45p–7:15a, 3x12s
Every other weekend and holiday required
No on-call requirement
Assignment length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Cardiac experience
Cardiology experience
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

2-year MS Tele experience

Unit Details

Acute Care patient population
495-bed facility
Patient ratio averages 1:7
At least 30 beds per unit
Level II Trauma Center

Additional Notes

No block scheduling
EPIC is required
Navy Blue scrubs
Holiday RTO may be considered, with no more than two days for holiday RTO
Candidates within a 50-mile radius may be considered
