Overview

• Travel RN position in Lake Havasu City, Arizona
• 1 opening
• 3x12 schedule
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period
• No call requirement
• Floating to other units in the hospital is expected, including IMC and ED
• Adult/geriatric patient population
• 40-bed unit
• 1:6 patient ratio

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Ability to handle 6 patient ratio

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of RN experience
• Preceptor experience
• Charge experience

Unit Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit
• Patients include total joint, surgical, ACS, acute on chronic medical conditions such as CHF and CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, and GIB

Additional Notes

• Orientation is weekly
• No block schedule requests
• 48-hour shifts may be considered but are not guaranteed
• Black scrubs required
• Open shoes are not allowed
