RN - Rapid Response

Overview

Travel assignment in Asheville, North Carolina
8-week contract
48 hours guaranteed
Overtime after 48 hours
RTO / special scheduling will not be accommodated

Unit

Peds and Oncology unit
19 total beds: 13 pediatric beds and 6 oncology beds
Always staffed with at least 1 oncology nurse per day
Floating areas: PICU, NICU

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Rapid Response (2 years of experience)
Rapid Response experience within the last year
BLS
PALS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Pediatrics experience

Preferred Qualifications

Pediatric experience in a hospital
Pediatric Oncology

Required Certifications for the Unit

APHON for oncology

Schedule

6 weekend shifts, including 2 Saturdays

Orientation

4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor

Dress Code

RNs: all navy, all white, or a combination of navy and white
