- Travel RN role in Independence, Missouri
- Unit: 7N Cardiac Telemetry
- 36 beds
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- 1 year of telemetry experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience recovering post-cath patients (no sheath removal)
- Experience with pacemaker placements
- Experience with stroke patients
- Experience with amiodarone drips
- Experience with Cardizem drips
Preferred Qualifications
- NIH Certification
Unit Details
- 70 staff members
- Day shift staffing: 1 charge, 9 RN/LPN, 3 PCT
- Night shift staffing: 1 charge, 8 RN/LPN, 3 PCT
- Patient ratio: 4 to 5:1
- Equipment includes Pyxis, Alaris pumps, and Welch Allen Vitals machines
- EMR: Meditech
Floating
- Other telemetry departments, med-surg, PCU
Schedule
- 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule
- Friday and Saturday for nights; Saturday and Sunday for days
