Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
• 1 year of Electrophysiology Lab experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License

Work Setting

• EP lab with 3 EP rooms
• Cardiovascular patient population
• Float as required by the facility
• No weekend hours
• No call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub electrophysiology cases, including devices and ablations
• Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient care as needed
• Support diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Clean necessary equipment and supplies
• Train students and other technologists in special procedures
• Perform routine department duties when not assigned to special procedures

Skills and Work Conditions

• Must be able to manipulate angiography and digital imaging equipment
• Must be able to lift, move, and transport patients
• Requires continual standing and walking
• Must be able to recognize emergency situations and work in stressful situations
• Must communicate effectively
• Must be able to stand up to six hours while wearing protective gear

Preferred Qualification

• ACLS from AHA only
