Location: Show Low, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (6 PM – 6 AM)
Hours: 36 hours per week (three 12-hour shifts)

Work in a regional hospital with a Labor & Delivery unit featuring:
- 7 L&D beds, 2 triage beds, 10 postpartum beds
- Approximately 1-3 births per day (about 830 births per year)
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
Guaranteed hours with no cancellations
May float to Emergency Department or Medical-Surgical units if experienced and needed
Call requirement: one shift per 4-week schedule
Must be proficient in fetal monitoring and managing fetal distress
Care for high-risk OB patients, including those with pre-eclampsia
Handle OB emergencies independently until provider arrival (no in-house OB/Neonatologist)
Ability to provide couplet care when census is low

Active Arizona RN license or compact license
Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience (including C-section experience)
Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
Clinical background in high-risk OB patients
Proficient assessment skills for managing emergencies in L&D

Support staff available on unit includes Respiratory Therapist (24/7), OB scrub tech, Patient Care Technicians, and Health Unit Secretaries
24/7 in-house pharmacy available
Nurse manager may occasionally see patients
Start date: ASAP

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
Floating to other units may be required based on experience and staffing needs
