Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• Days, 8 hours per day
• Variable schedule
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• No call for echo-only work
• Vascular coverage includes 1 weekend per month, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification through AHA
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) through ARDMS
• Registered in Adult Vascular and ECHO through ARDMS or CCI
• 2 years of experience
• Ability to scan adult patients

Preferred Qualifications

• ARDMS RVT preferred
• Pediatric scanning ability is a plus
• Knowledge of AIC accreditation preferred

Job Duties

• Perform adult cardiac echocardiograms
• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for respiratory, cardiac, and vascular disorders
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff on patient care plans and patient/family education

Physical Requirements

• Push the ultrasound machine for portable studies
• Position the ultrasound transducer in awkward positions for lengthy exams
