Physical Therapist (Outpatient) - Travel Assignment

Location: Norfolk, Nebraska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, typically 7:30-8:00 AM start, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
Weekend Requirement: Work 2-3 weekends during the contract (Saturday full day with comp day during the week; Sunday shifts limited to ortho or stroke patients)
Hours per Week: 40 hours

Job Description

• Outpatient physical therapy position in a hospital-affiliated clinic on campus (clinic is 3 years old)
• Treat 10-12 scheduled 1:1 patients per day
• Work collaboratively with a team including rehab aides and PTAs who assist with patient throughput and turnover
• Department emphasizes successful patient outcomes and a collaborative team environment
• Orientation includes 1 day of shadowing followed by direct patient care starting day 2
• Business casual dress code (khakis and polo shirts)

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist
• Minimum 1 year of experience in outpatient physical therapy
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Prior travel experience preferred for outpatient PT roles
• Prefer experience with Epic electronic medical records system

Additional Information

• No holiday shifts required, but volunteering for holidays is possible
• Must be flexible with shift start times and weekend scheduling
• Radius rule: must be willing to work within 45 miles of the facility
