Role Summary

• Behavioral Health Therapist supporting both the inpatient BHU and hospital level-of-care assessments.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Social Worker license in Utah
• Social Worker (2 years of experience)
• Social Worker experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's License

Work Setting and Scope

• Inpatient Behavioral Health
• ED and med floors for psych assessments and level-of-care assessments
• In-person psych assessments
• Intake assessments
• Inpatient therapy, groups, and check-ins
• Safety planning and discharge visits
• Family and collateral communication
• De-escalation and patient support

Caseload

• Up to 10 patients per day on the inpatient unit
• 3-4 consults per day on the med floors/ED

Schedule

• Monday through Thursday
• 4x10s
• 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• Nights

Holiday Requirement

• Yes

Orientation

• 1:1 training with the Lead Therapist
• Clinicians must be in state for the week of orientation, even if first-day modules are remote

• Radius: 60 miles
• Driver’s license must be submitted
• No weekend requirement
