Role Summary

• Staff RN responsible for a group of patients during a designated time frame
• Provides care using the nursing process and unit-specific responsibilities
• Completes initial patient assessment, develops a plan of care, implements interventions, and modifies care based on ongoing evaluation
• Maintains accurate nursing documentation and supports patient and employee safety
• Communicates directly and privately when needed, gives constructive feedback, and identifies personal learning needs
