Nurse Manager - Patient Care Service

Location

New York, New York

Schedule

  • Day shift
  • 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • 40 hours per week

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New York
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Administrative (3 years of experience)
  • Administrative experience within the last year
  • Charge Nurse or Supervisory experience
  • ED - Emergency Department experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in nursing or a health-related field
  • 3–5 years of nursing clinical care experience
  • Charge nurse or supervisory experience

Role Overview

  • Leads nursing practice using relationship-centered care and modified primary nursing principles
  • Oversees purposeful hourly rounding and patient experience practices
  • Supports patient safety, quality improvement, and compliance initiatives
  • Collaborates with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and nursing leadership
  • Addresses patient concerns and service recovery in a timely manner
