Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every weekend
• On-call on weekends
• Every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Wisconsin
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Advanced NRP
• Associate's degree
• Experience working with Infant or Neonate patients
• NICU experience with proficiency in caring for 0-6 month old patients
• Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience

Clinical Responsibilities

• Supports all patient care areas, including the ED and general care areas
• Provides emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue
• Performs basic respiratory care, critical care, ventilator management, patient assessment using Assess and Treat protocols, ABG draws, EKGs, and holter/event monitoring
• Cares for all age groups

Work Environment

• May float throughout the hospital
• May need to work as the only respiratory therapist on nights
• Uses V60 BiPAP, Hamilton T-1 vents, AVEA ventilators, and VOCSN ventilators

Additional Notes

• Previous travel experience is preferred
• ACLS is preferred but not required
• Must be comfortable working independently and prioritizing tasks
• Closed-toe shoes and scrubs of any color are required
• No smoking or scent allowed
