Job Overview

Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Employment type: Clinical–Nursing
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Variable, 6:30–5:00
Schedule expectations: 1 weekend shift per month, 2 call shifts per month, and holiday shifts if they fall within the contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Operating Room experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

BSN
Previous nursing experience

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on the unit, including rounds, assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, education, care coordination, and treatment planning
Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments
Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
Delegate and oversee patient care tasks appropriately
Support discharge planning and teaching
Participate in unit-based activities and quality improvement efforts
