Schedule

Day shifts with rotation to nights
No set schedule
40 hours per week

Call

Weekday call: 2 eight-hour shifts per schedule
Weekend call: 3 twelve-hour shifts per schedule
45-minute response time required

Floating

May float to other OR service lines as needed

Holiday Coverage

1 major and 1 minor holiday, depending on contract timing

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Neuro ICU experience within the last year
2 years of Neuro ICU experience
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
OR - Operating Room experience
RN scrubbing skill/experience

Preferred Experience

RN scrubbing skill/experience is ideal

Work Setting Details

28-room OR
Approximately 75–90 cases per day
