• Bismarck, North Dakota

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• Night shift, 12 hours
• Every other weekend
• No call required
• Floating may occur to ICU overflow areas, med surg, or a COVID unit depending on census

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Dakota or a compact state
• BLS certification from AHA
• ACLS certification from AHA
• 2 years of ICU experience
• Experience with central line care, chest tubes, Foley catheters, arterial lines, tracheostomy care, ventilators, proning, pressors, sedation, Impella, and balloon pumps

Preferred

• TNCC

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain provider orders
• Assist with intubations, central line insertions, arterial line insertions, chest tube insertions, and Foley catheter insertion
• Titrate medications

Unit Details

• 14-bed ICU
• Standard nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2
• Some patients may be 1:1 for fresh hearts, unstable trauma, or unstable CRRT cases

Additional Notes

• Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Local travelers within 80 miles are not accepted
• If the clinician has previously worked for Sanford Health, this must be noted in the submission, and there must be an end date at least 6 months before submission
