Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (Cardiopulmonary)

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour day or night shifts, with on-call duties.
• Provide respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and acuity levels.
• Must have excellent critical care and ventilator skills.
• Neonatal and pediatric experience required.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRT not accepted.
• Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program as required by licensure.
• Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA-RT).
• Current American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (AAP) – all required.
• Flu vaccine required, no exemptions.

Additional Information

• Traveler housing may be available in remodeled studio or one-bedroom apartments near the hospital (subject to availability).
• Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility.
