- 0615-1445, Monday-Friday
- No weekends, holidays, or call
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- Perioperative experience
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
- BLS
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and respond to patient physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs
- Communicate patient assessments to the appropriate team members
- Perform nursing care, including IV therapy and implementation of physicians’ orders
- Document patient records accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide patient and family education
- Assist with PACU care, including airway management, vital sign monitoring, pain control, and discharge readiness
- Support patient transfers and float coverage as needed
- Assist in procedure rooms and with anesthesia-related supplies and emergency readiness
- Participate in committee meetings and contribute suggestions for improvement
