• 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Call shifts twice during the scheduled period
• Approximately 36 hours per week

Job Description

• Provide nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care for Labor and Delivery patients
• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arkansas
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
