Location: Denver, Colorado

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Late night 10-hour shift (8:30 PM – 7:00 AM), 7 days on / 7 days off
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

Department: Lab Services
Facility Type: Level 1 trauma center
Number of Beds: 406
Staff on Unit: 18 laboratory assistants
Shift Staffing:
- Day: 1 supervisor, 3-4 laboratory assistants
- Evening: 1 coordinator, 2-3 laboratory assistants
- Night: 2 laboratory assistants
Equipment Used: Mobilab
EMR System: Meditech

Job Responsibilities

Venipuncture
Specimen processing
Specimen receipt and accessioning using Meditech

Required Qualifications

Medical Technologist license
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Technologist, including experience within the last year
BLS certification
HHCCA - De-escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with specimen processing
Experience using Mobilab equipment
Experience with Meditech EMR system
