Job Opportunity: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

Work Schedule

• Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (36 hours guaranteed weekly)
• Weekend hours as needed
• Must be able to take call hours as needed

Unit Information

• Respiratory Unit
• Patient population: patients with conditions affecting the cardiopulmonary system
• Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Missouri
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS (issued by American Heart Association), NRP or PEARS

Job Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in treating patients with cardiopulmonary conditions
• Serve as an advanced resource for other staff
• Perform duties within the scope of respiratory care guidelines established by the Missouri Board of Respiratory Care
• Ability to stand or walk most of the time during shifts
• Flexibility to work differing shifts and be on call during off-duty hours

Dress Code

• Scrubs color: Black
• Unacceptable attire includes unapproved t-shirts and yoga pants
