Overview

Travel position in Winchester, Virginia
Acute care and emergency department setting
Night shift: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, 3x12s
Every other weekend required
36 guaranteed hours per week
3 openings

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Experience with Epic

Role Responsibilities

Patient assessment
Treatment of pulmonary disease
Pulmonary-related education

Pros

Everyone has been very helpful and kind. The hospital is clean and pretty easy to navigate to rooms and floors. It's in a good location.

Cons

Not a whole lot of short term homes for rent but some nice hotels and rooms for rent. Not a lot of things to do during off time but DC and Shenandoah Park are a short drive. So are a lot of caverns.
