Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in California
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • AWHONN
  • Rapid Response Competencies
  • Rapid Response experience

Experience

  • Over 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience preferred

Unit Details

  • Labor and Delivery unit
  • Floating may include postpartum couplets
  • Candidates must be able to care for couplets if floated

Clinical Skills / Procedures

  • AWHONN fetal monitoring
  • NST
  • Cervical exams
  • Managing labor
  • Titrating medications
  • McRoberts maneuver

Additional Notes

  • No special scheduling or RTO
  • Candidates may extend for an additional 6 weeks at the same rate if fully credentialed
