Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Experience

1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

Role Summary

Provides routine and complex nursing care in a cardiac catheterization lab setting
Uses the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care
Administers medications and treatments using the appropriate protocol
Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
Educates patients, family members, and caregivers as needed
