Operating Room RN

Overview

• Travel RN role in Pasadena, Texas
• 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week
• Operating Room unit
• 10-bed unit
• Patient ratio: 1:1

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Orthopedics experience
• Urology experience

Preferred Experience

• Orthopedics
• General surgery
• Urology
• Gynecology
• ENT
• Vascular
• Pediatric experience

Schedule / On-Call

• On-call required, including weekly call and 1 weekend per month

Unit Details

• Day shift staffing includes RN, CST, first assist, PCT, anesthesia tech, supervisor, and director roles
• Night shift is on-call only
• Performs open, laparoscopic, and robotic general cases
• Performs robotic orthopedics
• Performs total knees and hips, trauma orthopedic cases, laparoscopic and robotic hysterectomies, tubal ligations, and emergent interventions
