Overview

• Travel RN role in inpatient rehab
• Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
• Shift: Days
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48
• Weekend hours: every other weekend
• Call: No
• Openings: 1
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Patient population: Adults and geriatrics
• Unit has 13 beds
• Patient ratio: 1 RN to 6
• Float scope: MedSurg as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Rehabilitation experience within the last year
• 1 year of rehabilitation experience
• Acute Care experience
• Iowa SING background check required, including criminal and child abuse portions
• All background checks must be fully cleared before start
• Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult required
• 10-panel drug screen including opiates required
• Titers within the last 12 months required for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB
• BLS

Preferred

• Travel experience preferred
• MedSurg experience preferred
• LTAC experience preferred

Additional Details

• Equipment: lift equipment
• EHR: Meditech
• Common diagnoses/treatments include neuro, trauma, burn, gait training/strengthening, and wound vac
• Monday or Tuesday starts allowed
