Unit Information

Number of Beds: 52
Staffing per Shift:
- Day and Night Shift each have:
  - 1 Charge Nurse
  - 4 Nurses
  - 1 Tech
  - 1 Unit Clerk
  - 1 Physician
  - 1 Midlevel Provider
Patient Ratios:
- Average 3:1
- Low acuity 5:1
- Pediatrics team nursing
Equipment: Alaris infusion pumps
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech

Required Qualifications

Current Kansas Registered Nurse License
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- NIH Certification
Experience in travel nursing or working in large facility emergency departments

Preferred Qualifications

TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Experience with Meditech EMR
Previous work in a 52-bed or larger emergency room
