Facility & Unit Overview

• Level III Trauma Center
• 48 beds with flex space
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 in Main ED, 6:1 in Fast Track
• EHR System: Cerner
• Equipment includes Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle and Istat POC, Ultrasound Guided IV
• Patient Population: ESRD, Cirrhosis, COPD, Psychiatric patients

Position Details

• Role: RN - Emergency Department
• Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Minimum of two weekends per schedule
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: None
• Team nursing and Pod System in place
• Social Worker and Unit Educator assigned to department

Required Qualifications

• Education: RN with ADN
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC (all must be from AHA)
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department or related specialty (Emergency Medicine)
• Must have skills/experience in Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, Moderate Sedation

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years Emergency Department experience preferred

• Chest Pain
