Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system

Two clinical references required (one must be from a supervisor or higher)
Annual skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
Medication/pharmacology competency exam required
Color blindness testing required
Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required for ICU units
Physical exam required within 1 year (to meet standard, not facility-mandated)
Completion of facility-specific orientation modules prior to start (up to 21 hours)
