• Suicidal ideation with medical indications

Essential Job Functions

• Apply the Nursing Process across all age groups: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
• Thorough documentation following regulatory and hospital standards
• Maintain clinical competencies and support professional development of self and others
• Practice clinical skills using theoretical knowledge in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Required Certifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 12 months of hire
• Additional certifications may be required as applicable (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC, Chemotherapy, CPI)

• Ability to work in a busy, stressful environment with changing patient safety requirements
• Proficiency with computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic medical records
• Strong organizational and workload management skills

• Creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and decision-making abilities

Additional Requirements

• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify (100-mile radius rule)
• Valid Driver’s License or State ID
• Background checks including 7-year history, education verification, and others as required
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually
• Immunizations and health documentation including:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella immunity or vaccination
  • Hepatitis B immunity or declination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
• Completion of unit-specific skills checklist annually
• Work history verification for the past 7 years
