Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Issaquah, Washington
13-week contract
Night shift, 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
48 hours per week
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
First-time travelers are accepted

Unit and patient care setting

Labor and Delivery unit
8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
Patient diagnoses include labor and preterm labor
Core work includes circulate, OB-GYN, post-op, pre-op, scrub, low risk antepartum, and low risk LD

Required qualifications

Valid RN license in Washington
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart&Stroke
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
FHM
AWHONN Intermediate
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with blood/blood products administration
Experience with epidural pumps
Experience with PCA pumps
Experience with syringe pumps
Experience administering magnesium sulfate
Experience attending high risk deliveries
Experience circulating for GYN surgeries
Experience with couplet care
Experience with Epic

Scheduling notes

Can request up to 2 major holidays off
Traveler is required to work 1 of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve
