Registered Nurse – CVPICU

Overview

Travel/contract role in San Diego, California
13-week assignment
Variable day/night schedule
Start date: November 9 only
36 hours per week
12-hour shifts

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Pediatrics CVPICU (2 years of experience)
Pediatrics CVPICU experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Pediatric cardiac training
Heart transplant experience
Experience with ventilators
Experience with multiple cardiac monitors
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Scheduling and Assignment Expectations

Must work 2 of these 3 holidays, including eves: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s
Up to 6 days of RTO allowed
Must still work 3 shifts per week
Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Will float within scope to meet facility needs
Does not allow block scheduling
Does not accept local candidates
On-call is not required

Experience and New Grad Policy

2 years of experience required
First-time travelers accepted if they have strong experience
Pending license accepted if there is an ETA from licensing for when it will post
