Overview

Travel/Contract role in Utica, New York
13-week assignment
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
36 hours per week
Unit: IMCU, 5th Floor
Staffing ratio: 4:1 depending on acuity; may be 5:1 if acuity is lower

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Stepdown (2 years of experience)
Stepdown experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with titratable drips (neo up to 100, precedex, insulin/glucomander)
Experience with the care and management of invasive lines (A lines, TR bands)
Experience with neuro checks
Experience with post-operative recovery
Epic proficiency
Stroke experience
Pre/Post Cath Lab experience
