Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Paramus, New Jersey
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Must be willing to float to other units

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Oncology experience within the last year
• 2 years of oncology experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Additional Hiring Requirements

• Two references required: one supervisory reference from within the last 12 months and one professional reference from within the last 3 years
• Unit-specific skills checklist required
• Employment verification required for 7 years of employment history
• Current resume required, including explanation for any employment gaps greater than 30 days

Pre-Start Compliance

• Background check and exclusion/sanctions screening required
• Education verification and transcript/diploma documentation required
• Physical exam or statement of health required
• Fit testing required
• Negative TB screening required
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, COVID-19, and seasonal flu documentation required
• Drug screening required
• Time-sensitive onboarding documents and training modules must be completed before start
