Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Melbourne, Florida
• Day shift: 11:00 to 23:00
• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend and major holiday coverage as assigned by the department
• Ratios: 1:4
• Contracted hours are guaranteed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• CPI

Schedule and Coverage

• Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule cycle
• On-call as needed
• May be required to float to all 4 locations: Holmes, Viera, Cape Canaveral, and Palm Bay

Additional Notes

• Finalized RTO must be included with submission
• Locals accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Scrubs: any solid color; candidate provides own or may wear provided scrubs
• Documentation system: EPIC
