Labor and Delivery RN

Job Overview

  • Travel/contract RN role in Portland, Oregon
  • 16-week assignment
  • Night shift: 3:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 3x12 schedule
  • Expected patient ratio: 1:1 to 1:3 couplets
  • Specialty focus includes high-risk OB
  • May float between units based on unit needs
  • On-call may be required on scheduled shifts if cancelled
  • Every other weekend required
  • 48 hours approved
  • Must have a vehicle for this assignment

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Oregon
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
  • Driver's License
  • NURSYS verification required for all RNs
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • PALS certification
  • NRP certification
  • EFM certification or completion of the fetal heart rate monitoring assessment exam
  • Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
  • Employment application covering at least the last 5 years
  • Skills checklist required for the applicable unit
  • Background check, education verification, and required state/facility screenings must be completed before start

  • If floating consecutive shifts, hotel may be offered
  • Floating to Seaside includes a $5/hour incentive plus mileage reimbursement
