Registered Nurse — Med/Surg Telemetry

Assignment Details

• Travel/contract role
• 18-week assignment; 13 weeks also accepted
• Day shift
• 3x12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Options for 4x12s, 3x12s, or 2x12s are available

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 1.5 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Willing to obtain NIHSS prior to start
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, director, or charge RN in the specialty
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation

• Start date, requested time off, and scheduling details must be accurate and confirmed at submission
• Requirements listed in the job description and submittal requirements are non-negotiable
• Background check required before start
• Fingerprinting required within 48 hours of signed contract
• Education verification required
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit mask required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Tdap required every 10 years
• TB screening required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/documentation required
• Drug screen required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Flu documentation required seasonally
• Eye exam required within 1 year of start
• BCI/FBI fingerprint attestation required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Skills checklist required annually

• Orientation includes baseline competency testing
• Online training modules must be completed before start
• Government-issued photo ID is required and must be carried while on assignment
